Please call our office at (928) 501-6000 before 9:00 a.m. to notify us that your child will be absent. Your call protects your child and also saves everyone time.

Students may complete missed tests and assignments due to absence. However, students are responsible for asking the teacher for missed homework and arranging make-up tests.

We encourage students to arrive on time, as tardiness disrupts the classroom and slows down learning. If your child must arrive late, please notify us at (928) 501-6000.

If you must pick your child up during school hours, please send a note or call the office to inform the school. When you arrive to pick up your child, please visit the school office to sign your child out, and bring photo I.D. This is for your child’s protection. A parent or designated adult must be present; we cannot release your child early to walk home or to appointments.

Yes, driving your child to school is ok. Please make sure to drop your child off only at the designated unloading zone at the school and avoid the bus loading and unloading zone. Following these rules helps ensure student safety.

Students may ride a bicycle or scooter to school with written parental permission. Bicycles and scooters should be locked in the bicycle racks near the southeast entrance of school. Please remember to ride safely!

We expect students to dress appropriately for a learning environment. Clothing should cover chest, midriff, and shoulders. Students may not wear clothing or jewelry that promotes alcohol, tobacco, sex, or drugs in any way.
